Astrology for Self-Awareness
& Personal Growth

An astrology consultation often enters a person’s life for the first time when they are searching for an answer — or perhaps when they are still trying to discover what the right question might be.

Perhaps you are going through a time of change or uncertainty. Perhaps you are wondering why you sometimes feel a certain way, why certain patterns seem to repeat themselves, or which paths those “stars within you” seem to be quietly whispering in your ear.

Throughout history, people have also turned to astrology in search of guidance, to choose an auspicious date for an important occasion, to glimpse what might lie ahead, or to look back and find meaning in the experiences of their past.

Whatever has brought you here, perhaps the first step is not to ask the stars what will happen, but to discover what they can help you recognise within yourself. Because very often, that is where the answers you are searching for can be found.

This knowledge can help us understand ourselves better and more deeply and, from this new awareness, begin to choose and build our own path — with the stars, or perhaps even beyond the stars.

READING THE STARS
… ACCORDING TO AURA ROSE

For thousands of years, human beings have looked to the sky in an attempt to understand its deeper meaning. From ancient civilisations to the present day, the observation of the stars and planets has crossed different ages and cultures, continuing to attract and fascinate us. Constellations and planets have been associated with deities, mythological figures and archetypes, as well as with symbolic qualities and energies capable of representing not only what human beings perceived as divine, but also profoundly human aspects of existence: love, strength, thought, time, challenges, expansion and change.

Through astrology, the observed sky became a symbolic language: a reflection in which humanity could represent and recognise different aspects of its own experience. This vision also includes the ancient principle of correspondence between macrocosm and microcosm — between the greater universe and the smaller universe of the human being. A principle that the Hermetic tradition would later express in the well-known phrase, “as above, so below.”

The sky and the human being could therefore be understood as two dimensions symbolically connected: forces, energies and qualities attributed to the macrocosm of the universe find expression and reflection within the human microcosm.

The Natal Chart symbolically brings these different energies together within a single representation, in which no part truly exists in isolation. We can imagine them as different notes within the same musical composition: some seem naturally to harmonise and support one another, while others may create tension or pull in different directions. A tension does not necessarily represent a wrong note: it can contribute to the character, depth and uniqueness of the whole. And it is through the meeting of all these energies — their harmonies as well as their tensions — that the unique complexity of each one of us takes shape. … This is how the Natal Chart can become something more than a collection of planets, signs and aspects: it becomes a symbolic map of our inner cosmos.

It is from this perspective that we can approach the Natal Chart. The planets and their qualities can symbolically express the different parts of ourselves: the ways in which we feel and think, love and desire, act and assert ourselves, seek security or freedom. Through the relationships these different parts form with one another, the Natal Chart can help us recognise talents and resources, but also tensions, limitations and challenges that may accompany us along our path of growth. All of this can help us develop a deeper awareness of ourselves and a more harmonious relationship with who we are, supporting our overall wellbeing.

AN EXPLORATORY JOURNEY
... THROUGH YOUR NATAL CHART

As we have seen, the Natal Chart represents a symbolic map of our inner world — our needs, resources, talents, contradictions, relationship patterns, and those parts of ourselves that sometimes seem to want completely different things.

Exploring it means beginning to travel through that map and looking more closely at what it contains.

It can become a kind of mirror, in which we recognise something that has always belonged to us but that perhaps we have never seen quite so clearly; or a lens, capable of bringing into focus patterns and dynamics that we have felt at work within us without ever fully understanding them.

Sometimes what emerges is easy to recognise. At other times, we encounter apparently contradictory parts of ourselves expressing different, even opposing needs — yet both are authentic, asking only to be recognised and to find a way to coexist.

And this is where the Natal Chart can become a tool for self-knowledge: it can help us give a name to something we may have felt for a long time without ever being able to fully put it into words; to better understand some of our contradictions; and to recognise not only our tensions, but also the resources we possess and the strengths that can help us along our path, bringing all the different notes of our soul into harmony within a single melody.

TWO NATAL CHARTS,
... TWO WORLDS TO DISCOVER

Understanding our own Natal Chart does not necessarily have to end with ourselves. A Natal Chart can also help us to be better understood by the person we love and who loves us. Because sometimes we know what we feel, what we need, what makes us happy or what hurts us, yet we cannot easily translate it into words that allow the other person to truly understand us.

When two people wish to share their Natal Charts in this way, the charts can become almost like a bridge between them: each person can open a window into their inner world for the other, sharing needs, sensitivities, resources, contradictions and ways of feeling that, in everyday life, do not always find the right words to be expressed.

In this case, it is not about astrologically analysing the relationship or determining how “compatible” two people may be. It is something simpler and perhaps even more intimate: getting to know the person beside us better, while allowing them to understand us better too. Because even when two people love each other deeply, it is not always easy to explain who we are on the inside. … And sometimes, truly understanding another person can begin right here: by trying to see their world through their eyes, rather than only through our own.

YOUR NATAL CHART JOURNEY

... FROM FIRST MEETING TO DISCOVERY

First Consultation — Getting to Know You

Our first consultation is an opportunity to meet and talk before I begin interpreting your Natal Chart. I will collect the birth information needed to calculate your chart and spend some time getting to know you, your story and where you feel you are today in your personal journey.

This is an important part of my approach. A Natal Chart may remain the same throughout our lives, but we do not. Some of its patterns may already be very familiar to you, others may have changed in the way they are expressed over time, while some may still be waiting to be recognised or explored.

Preparing Your Natal Chart — Time for Reflection and Interpretation

After our first consultation, I begin the detailed process of exploring and interpreting your Natal Chart.

Rather than analysing each planet, house or aspect in isolation, I gradually bring the different elements together, looking at the relationships between them — their harmonies and tensions, recurring themes, contradictions, talents and resources — until a more complete picture begins to emerge.

This is a careful and highly individual process, and I allow at least two weeks for its preparation. Once completed, you will receive by email your personalised Natal Chart together with a written report of approximately 15 pages, created for you to read in your own time and return to it whenever you wish in your life.

Second Consultation — Exploring Your Chart Together

After you have received your report and given it a first reading, we will meet again to explore your Natal Chart together.

This second consultation is not simply a reading of what you have already received. It is a conversation. We can look more closely at the parts that particularly resonated with you, those that raised questions or perhaps surprised you, and even those that you do not immediately recognise in yourself. Your own experience is an important part of this exploration, because a Natal Chart is not interpreted in isolation from the life you have already lived.

Together, we can begin to connect the symbolic language of your chart with your own experience — giving you the opportunity not simply to read your Natal Chart, but to understand it, reflect upon it and make it personally meaningful.
